Our team of qualified professionals are committed to providing compassionate care and support to all of our patients during this challenging period. We personalize every individual's experience and remain faithful to using a collaborative approach to meeting your needs. Unlike other hospice programs, we take the fear and confusion out of the entire hospice process. Where others generally take days to admit clients, we are able to do so in less than 24 hours of being notified. Your needs are our top priority and we are here to meet them promptly. Whether it is hospice or palliative care it allows the patient and family to remain together in the comfort and security of their own home, or wherever they may reside, including skilled nursing facilities, long-term care, assisted living and residential care facilities. Hospice can be a beneficial care options for patients, when curative treatment is no longer available and a tremendous source of emotional and physical support for the family. Palliative care is very similar to hospice care, but with a broader population. It is not time-restricted-- indeed it can last for years-- and no specific therapy is excluded if it can improve the patient's quality of life. Our services may include but are not limited to:

Myth:You can't keep your own doctor if you enter a hospice program
Truth:Your family doctor or specialist is encouraged to remain engaged in your care. The Hospice Physician works closely with your doctor - who knows you better (medically) than anyone else - to determine the specific medical needs that will be addressed in your individual plan of care.

Myth: Hospice means there’s nothing more that doctors can do for you.
Truth: Hospice physicians are experts in pain management, symptom control and other techniques to relieve suffering. The hospice team also includes nurses, aides, a social worker, a spiritual care provider and often, volunteers.

COMMUNITY LIAISON OR MARKETING ASSOCIATE

Angeles Vista Hospice with office located in Beverly Hills, CA is looking to add to its Marketing Department.
Community Liaison or Marketing Associate is responsible for growing the hospice program by increasing awareness, developing relationships and educating both the public and medical professionals by organizing in-service or community programs.
Some of the underlining goals are to identify key referral sources, bring in new business by relationship-building and develop marketing plans to increase referral response.

Qualifications / Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the US
Knowledgeable or willing to learn hospice requirements including Medicare, Medi-Cal and private insurance guidelines
Needs to have work experience in marketing, customer service or medical sales (i.e. pharmaceutical/ dme/ home care or hospice community liaison).
Speak and write English proficiently (Spanish is a plus)
Ability to respond to the needs of patients and family members, physicians and patient care coordinators
Ability to write comprehensive marketing reports
Should have current physical records
Excellent organizational skills
Professional references
