Going into the holiday weekend 🇺🇸 thankful for a successful surgery this morning. This patient had a plantar fascia release surgery w/ a heel spur resection. 🦶🏼

Yesterday I went w/ for a trip to the border in Tijuana, Mexico 🇲🇽 We visited a LGBTQ+ 🏳️‍🌈shelter housing asylum seekers from around the world 🌎 & helped throw their 1st ever Pride Party. We also helped prepare meals in a relief kitchen w/ & where they are providing 3,100+ meals a day to children, families & LGBTQ+ individuals at the border seeking asylum. Thank you for all that you do!👏🏽💜 🙌🏽

Today’s Surgery was a Resection of Haglund’s Deformity. 👣 Do you ever experience pain along the back of your heel? You could have a bony bump from your heel bone called a Haglund’s deformity. Today we removed one of these bumps. After 6 weeks they will be back in normal shoes 👠
