Acoustic Youth’s musical mentors are the best! Thanks to Dave Grohl, Atom Willard and John Lousteau for helping empower teens to use music/song writing to work through challenges! I am honored to work with this this treatment team to help kids cope with a variety of mental health issues. Next group beings February 4th. Spots are limited. Acoustic Youth...not your typical therapy group.

Who is Acoustic Youth for?

• Teens between the ages of 14-17 who are interested in gaining coping skills through expressive arts (e.g. art, drumming, songwriting and recording)

Studies have shown that participating in music and art can alleviate pain, help people manage stress, promote wellness, enhance memory, improve communications, aide physical rehabilitation, and give people a way to express their feelings.

Music and art are increasingly being used as tools for therapy for high school students who have faced trauma – from sexual abuse to homelessness.
