This is a great example of why oral surgeons recommend extraction of impacted wisdom teeth. In just 5 years a large cystic lesion has developed around the impacted wisdom tooth that almost obliterated the inferior border of the mandible putting this patient at a high risk for mandible fracture. Incisional biopsy was completed today . What do you think the pathology will show ?
