This measles case is unlikely to cause significant local spread because MA has so many wonderful parents who vaccinate their children, protecting our whole community against dangerous infections. Shout out to all of you while we await updates from the DPH.

The cases are the first two with ties to the state this year, but they come amid a large national outbreak.
