August is DYRK1A month.

Excited to host the 2nd live walk on the 10th anniversary for the discovery of DYRK1A Syndrome!

Help by sharing so we can spread the word about this rare syndrome.
Causing motor development delay, cognitive delay, seizures, muscle atrophy, language skills vary from kiddo to kiddo. Same for feeding as well.
My youngest Zach was diagnosed in 2016 at 8 years old. We knew nothing about it. Now Zach is 1 out of 800 people that we know of in the WORLD! So please consider donating if you can, share away and spread awareness of these amazingly resilient kids. Who are writing the text on this syndrome. 🧡🧡🧡🧡

Sometimes, knowing what makes something feel better can help you to know what's wrong. For instance, when exercising an area makes it feel better, but stretching doesn't, your pain is likely caused by instability. I ask clients this question all the time.

Say hello to my sweet MaryJane, a three month old Yorkie who is super sweet, friendly and cuddly.

No she won't be on you during your sessions (unless you want 🤷) this client is also a friend and shes obsessed with dogs.

So future sessions, they will be dog friendly. I'm going to be training for her to become a therapy and emotional support animal.

This one was a tough emotional learning experience.

When my good friend got the news she was heading towards a mastectomy, I knew I had to learn the massage techniques to help with her recovery. It's taken a few years to find the right -for me and my clients- course.

Now officially certified to work on the anterior torso. Full chest and yes even breasts. It's time to desexualize our bodies. Breasts are in front of our pectorals. Why do we ignore them? The most common complaint I have on my table is "my neck and shoulders are bothering me and are tight" I can't wait to start incorporating this work into a session for clients who are wanting to experience a full body massage.
