All of my Children and Grandchildren

Going to my Aunts house for Thanksgiving

Golfing and Reading books

What is one lesson you've learned that you'd like to pass on to others?
Do unto others as you would have them do onto you

Work Hard

The Alamo

What is a talent or skill you had that others might not know about?
I was a Chef at one time

People

Always be yourself

Christmas gifts were never opened until Dad got home, if he had to work

Reading Romance Novels

What is one lesson you've learned that you'd like to pass on to others?
To be thankful for what you have

What is the best advice you ever received?
Don't give up

What is one place you've visited that you loved, or a place you always wished to go?
Niagara Falls

What is a talent or skill you had that others might not know about?
Played the slide trombone for 8 years in school

What is something that always makes you smile?
Seeing good friends

What is one thing you would tell your younger self?
Slow down and enjoy life

What do you like about living at Muskingum Skilled Nursing?
The staff is all friendly and caring. The rooms and halls are kept clean. Rides to appointments; the drivers are always careful, caring, and friendly. Many activities and crafts. Lots of BINGO.

What is one of your favorite childhood memories?
Living by a barn that had a rope swing. I loved to swing.

What was your very first job?
I was a hostess and waitress in a cafe.

What is something you are most proud of in your life?
Learning how to be a good cook.

What is a tradition your family had when you were growing up?
My brother David and I going to look at all the Christmas lights.

What is a hobby or activity that you have always enjoyed?
Spending time with my family and listening to music.

What is one lesson you've learned that you'd like to pass on to others?
Always be honest and kind.

What is the best advice you have ever received?
To always show love and love one another.

What is on place you've visited that you loved?
I loved going to Pizza Sam's Restaurant.

What is a talent or skill you had that others might not know about?
I can sing and was in a choir.

What is something that always makes you smile?
When others show kindness and I share my love with others.

What is one thing you would tell your younger self?
To always believe in and love myself.

What do you like about living at Muskingum Skilled Nursing?
I have friends that I can talk to.
Everyone cares about me and helps me. I enjoy going on outings.

This morning, our liaison, Tricia, had the honor of helping serve at the Veterans Brunch at the Joyce Davis Senior Center in Caldwell. This was a heartfelt celebration for the incredible seniors and veterans who’ve given so much to our community.

A huge thank you to the Joyce Davis Senior Center for hosting and to all who served – your legacy inspires us every day. 🇺🇸

We would like to thank all the community members for their donations of candy. Especially the American Legion and Eagles for their generous donations. The residents all had an awesome time passing out candy.
