SEP 4: Tarot Salon Journey Through the Zodiac- Virgo. Tonight is the Night!

Tarot Salon is back for the 2025/6 season with monthly virtual gatherings designed to empower your personal practice and find magic through community learning. A Journey Through the Zodiac will blend our usual focus on practicing Tarot with the astrological theme of the season we’re in.

True, earthy Virgo season is often thought about in terms of “back to school” vibes such as organization, attention to detail and practical matters… but this late summer/early autumn moment is amazing to amp up self-care, health and wellness routines and spiritual hygiene. It’s also resident Virgo Zhana’s birthday!

Co-facilitated by Zhana Levitsky and Melissa Nierman .age , each monthly Zoom gathering includes an experiential and immersive structure - starting with an energetic grounding meditation, a Talk about the monthly astrological Theme, and moving into hands-on Tarot practice using unique Tarot spreads created for deeper exploration. Every attendee will have the opportunity to participate in both one-on-one and small group readings in break-out rooms. Sign up for the entire 12 session Zodiac journey or pop into the ones that interest you! Tarot Salon is live and runs on attendee participation, sessions will not be recorded.

It’s Virgo 🌾 season!! Join me tomorrow night at zoom for the new moon virtual gathering (pssst: gather salt in a bowl for a communal grounding and purification ritual I’ll guide us through!). See you there, divas! Here’s what wrote about this lunation via thehoodwitch: On the 22nd, the Sun enters Virgo, intensifying the desire to tend to ourselves. Also, Venus in Cancer squares the centaur Chiron, which is retrograde in Aries. This aspect urges us to tend to our innermost hurts in mending money and relationship problems. Chiron, known as “the wounded healer that ironically could not heal themselves,” is offering ways to modify and rectify self-esteem issues. A confidant might allow us to understand that these upsets we are experiencing will dissipate soon through TLC. Taking care of ourselves is pivotal and a process. It also encourages us to spiritually or emotionally awaken during the Black Moon.

The Black Moon in Virgo can get lost in obligations and duties — not just for themselves, but primarily for others. When Uranus in Gemini squares the lunation, it disrupts the energy and creates chaos. The reason is that Uranus wants us to become aware that we need to change the direction and road we are headed down. As much as we care about others, we may not feel as though the sentiment is being reciprocated. With the cosmos encouraging us to evolve, we are learning that it is never too late to jump ship and change our course.

Mercury’s post-retrograde shadow clears on August 25. Meanwhile, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto are still backspinning in the sky. Be mindful of the tone spoken or texted, as it might have repercussions for the future. It’ll be hard to take back erratic and austere things that are said. So, be mindful of how you express yourself. Uranus’s impulsivity can make us salty and direct, since it doesn’t mince words. We might preach our beliefs and not hold space for others. Give everyone a moment to be heard, then commit to how you wish to proceed. ♍️

Come as you are and bring your favorite Tarot deck + a notebook!

The summer solstice ushered in cancer season yesterday , which means it’s officially summer & we can be emotionally rooted and nourished. Join me this Wednesday (virtually by zoom) 8-9 for the new moon in cancer 🐚♋️🦀 We will spend some time in self reflection journaling my standard “13 Questions“ written specially for this cancer new moon, go over the astrology of the moment, and splash in the warm waters of gathering in magical community together!

APR 27: Virtual Ta**us New Moon Circle 8pm tonight!
“Ta**us is fertility and the Earth. It is groundedness, stability, and security. It maintains and perseveres, holding the essence of reliability, steadiness, peace, and comfort. A fixed sign, it invites us to relax into out inner garden, to sink into our current season. There is no beginning. There is no ending. There is simply—and powerfully—right now.

Yet this is not our usual Ta**us New Moon.

While the Moon emanates Taurean medicine, within her arms are both Pluto and Mars in a T-Square, bringing transformation and action. There is depth and intensity—and there is grounding, soothing love. There is Earth Medicine and somatic tending, and there is a breaking through, a profound empowerment.

This Moon is a portal. A moment in time. A lunar container holding us within it, calling us to reclaim the voice guiding our lives. A space to turn our attention away from the noise of the world—the expectations, fears, ideas, and ‘wrongs’ and ‘rights’ of others—and instead tune into the rhythm within your body, the knowing within your heart, and the silence that somehow holds every piece of guidance you need… step by step, breath by breath.

This is a New Moon to inviting us to reevaluate what security and comfort truly mean.

Are you holding onto ways of being, living, or accumulating for the momentary illusion of safety they bring?

What would true, empowered, freeing security feel like?

What would real safety within your body feel like?

And with that safety—how would you move, live, and create differently?

From this space of grounded, regulated, connected safety—how would you respond to the change stirring from deep within your body?

How would you respond to the voices asking you to break free, realign, and let go?

What are they saying? Where are they guiding you?

In this Year of Alignment we’ve been studying a different aspect of the human condition each month through the cards. Our last installment is a can’t miss: TRANSMUTATION!

We’ll start with an energetic grounding meditation followed by a talk about transmutation and hands-on practice using unique spreads created just for Tarot Salon.
