Last night our guild was treated to a very special showing of the Johnson Family’s quilts all sewn by matriarch Joanne Carson Johnson! Such a wonderful program!! Thank you to Susan, Daniel, and Samuel Johnson and Abby Johnstone for the breathtaking show!!

Our September Meeting is this next Tuesday, the 16th and YOU ARE INVITED!!
Our presenter will be showing us the beautiful work of her mother-in-law, a life long quilter who has given her family a legacy of love through her quilting. “Seasons of Quiilting”
Doors open at 6pm for socializing/refreshments. The presentation begins at 6:30 with our business meeting following the presentation.
We meet at the Living Hope Church of the Nazarene 556 Cabot St. Beverly, MA

Our first Sit & Sew was today! We enjoyed seeing each other’s projects & chatting about our summers and about our Artisan Fair in November. Pictures show some of our projects…the group of baby blankets were tops donated by Judy N. And completed by Joan P. Thank you ladies!! We’ll add these to the ones donated at our August meeting. Beverly Hospital Special Care Nursery will be so excited to receive them.
Next Tuesday morning (Sept. 9) is another Sit & Sew time from 9-12. Reach out for more info if you like to join us. We’d love to have you!!

Also at last week’s meeting we received back the tie dye projects we worked on at the May meeting. Thank you to our speaker, Mary Thurlow, for showing us the many dyeing techniques and for doing the dyeing of all our pieces. The results are spectacular!

A wonderful annual meeting last Tuesday night. To wrap up the season there was a challenge to make something using a chosen fat quarter from the club’s stash and it had to include button(s). There were some beautiful and clever creations. Congratulations to the top three winners! (Click on the actual photos to see them all☺️)
