Clinic Scribe/Pretest
Position is split between our Beverly (2 days) and McConnelsville location (3 days)
Monday - Friday - 8:15am - 5:00pm - No weekends!
Clinic Technician/Scribe Needed
Perform preliminary testing and prepare patients to see the doctor. Assist the doctor and scribe during examinations in addition to helping balance office flow.
You'll have the ability to develop your skills through on-site training, continued education, and with each patient interaction. This position offers you an opportunity for stability with a career in healthcare at our McConnelsville and Beverly locations!
NO Experience Needed:
Prior eyecare or medical office experience is a plus, but it’s certainly not required. We offer paid training for the right person with a great attitude, a helpful heart, and a love of learning! This position offers fulltime hours split between two of our locations.
Some of your duties will include:
- Making sure patients feel welcome and comfortable as they complete preliminary testing before seeing the doctor.
- Pleasantly answering questions and making appointments for existing and potential clients
- Reviewing and organizing patient medical charts for accuracy and authenticity as well as scribing during examinations
- Using your friendliest phone voice to answer incoming calls, take messages, complete outreach to patients (re-engagement required)
- Training patients interested in contact lens wear and managing follow up care schedules.
- Consistent cross-training for optimal career growth
- Assisting in opening and closing the office
- Verifying their medical history, and insurance memberships for maximum benefit
- Assisting in processing, organizing, and dispensing of contact lenses and other eyewear.
- Understanding and respecting patient privacy laws
