Hello everyone, and welcome to Fall 2021! I hope you and yours have remained happy and healthy, and that your adjustment to all of what our "new world" has thrown at us has been as smooth as possible. Myself and my family have been so lucky to remain well amid the chaos, shifting as things change and arise.
I wanted to take a brief moment to update everyone on the practice. As many of my clients know, I stepped away from practicing for quite a bit of 2020 and part of 2021. I returned to work this spring on a part time basis and have only been working with established clients, with whom I have solid, ongoing relationships. I made this decision to minimize risk and exposure for myself, my family, and my client base. Things have been *knock on wood* great, and I am so thankful for everyone's patience and loyalty throughout the last nearly 2 years.
Moving forward, I will continue to operate on a part time basis Tuesday-Saturday. Generally speaking, I am no longer working evenings, and I will continue to work with only established clients or those who have a direct referral from one of these said clients, when the schedule allows. All clients must be vaccinated, and I see 2-3 clients 5 days a week.
As far as specific, ongoing Covid protocols, I am continuing to wear my mask throughout the entire session, and clients are continuing to wear masks when face up on the table....we are just too close contact to consider pulling back on this measure at this time! I clean with hospital grade disinfectant between every client. I run an air filter the entire time I am in the office, and windows are open as much as the weather allows - and every time a client leaves, I prop open the door and open the windows wide to let fresh air rush in. I like to think that with these measures, combined with the low level of traffic in my space, the office is as low risk a situation as possible, and I've received feedback that many clients feel we've achieved this.
As I mentioned before, I am beyond grateful for your continued support and business over the last 13 years, and particularly the last two - it's been a wild ride, but the support, compassion, and straight up amazing senses of humor (you know who you are!) that you all possess and express have kept me smiling, laughing, and excited to be working during uncertain times!
Cheers to you, and to Shanti, and to many more years of happy muscles...and no lack of laughter!
Please feel free to reach out at any time with any questions or comments. Or hilarious memes. I gladly accept those as well.
Yours in health,
Sarah
