Rev. King was a beloved friend of Bass River for so many years. We are heartbroken to hear that she passed unexpectedly last week. Rev. King was always so loving and kind to the people in our care. She would provide beautiful sermons at our annual Memorial Day services, as well as at funeral services for residents that we have lost. Just this past holiday season Rev. King joined us at multiple of our residential Christmas parties to lend a voice in singing carols and bringing smiles to our resident's faces. She was a wonderful person, and we will miss her greatly.

We were selected by our local Shaw's on Dodge Street in Beverly to be the recipient of the "Give Back Where it Counts" program! That means for the whole month of August Bass River will receive $1 of every reusable bag purchased. This program is only valid at the Dodge Street location in Beverly. We are heartbroken to share that longtime resident John Pedersen has passed away. Services are Thursday morning in Salem. Details can be found in the obituary. ❤️ may he rest in peace and ride all the roller coasters in heaven 🎢

John B. “Sonny” Pedersen, Jr., 81, of Peabody, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024.  He was the son of the late John B. Sr. and Esther (Johnson) Pedersen.
