Position Overview:
Our clinics are seeking a dependable and adaptable Medical Assistant to join our patient-focused team. We are hiring for our Macon and Bevier locations. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and capable of handling both administrative and clinical responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a welcoming and professional first point of contact for patients
Manage phone calls, appointment scheduling, and patient check-in/check-out
Verify and update insurance and demographic information
Collect co-pays and assist with billing accuracy
Take vital signs and assist the provider with routine patient care
Room patients and maintain clinical readiness
Coordinate referrals, tests, and outside appointments
Update and maintain electronic patient records
Review, sort, and file incoming faxes appropriately in patient charts
Maintain efficiency, organization, and accuracy while multitasking
Requirements:
Prior experience in a medical or clinical setting preferred
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between Bevier and Macon locations
Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent required; MA certification preferred but not required
Work Environment:
You will be part of a supportive clinic team focused on delivering high-quality patient care. The ability to flex between locations ensures operational consistency and continuity of care across both clinics.

Dear Valued Patient: Please bring your medications to your routine visits such as physicals, 3 month checks, 6 month checks and when requested by staff. Responding with “she knows what I take is not appropriate “. Medications change and pharmacies change so on and so forth. You may have been to a specialist recently and meds may have been adjusted and therefore our list is not accurate any longer. To be able to provide the best care for you and the safest please follow through with this request.
