Our Annual Aide Meeting was such a great reminder of just how much our team has grown! ❤️

We spent the day recognizing employment milestones, brushing up on important policies and patient care topics, giving out some fun awards, and getting to know each other better with a little Human Bingo fun. 🎉

Since our aides are always out caring for clients in the community, we don’t often get the chance to see everyone together in one room. Looking around made us incredibly proud of the amazing team we’ve built.

Thank you to each of our aides for the compassion, hard work, and dedication you bring to our clients every single day. We appreciate all that you do! 💙😇

To our amazing home health nurses, thank you for the compassion you bring into every home, the comfort you provide in uncertain moments, and the dedication you show to each patient and family you serve. You don’t just deliver care, you build trust, offer support, and make a lasting difference every single day.

And to those who are also mothers, your nurturing spirit doesn’t end when your shift begins. You give so much of yourselves both at home and in the field, and that strength does not go unnoticed.

Happy Nurses Week and Mother’s Day to the ones who care for everyone else, often putting others before themselves. We appreciate you today and always! 🌷😇

Vincennes Water Utilities and Knox County Water have issued a water boil order through Tuesday, April 21 for its customers, which includes Good Samaritan.

Our hospital remains open and fully operational, and we have implemented all recommended safety precautions to protect our patients, staff, and visitors. Measures include:

• Bottled and treated water is being used for all patient care needs
• Additional safety measures are in place across all departments

What this means for you:

• Please do not drink tap water unless it has been boiled (when boiling water, bring it to a full rolling boil for at least 1 minute, boil for 3 minutes, and then allow the water to cool before using)
• Use bottled or boiled water for drinking and brushing teeth
• Follow guidance from Vincennes Water Utilities, Knox County Water and local health officials

If you have an upcoming appointment or procedure, please come as scheduled unless you are contacted directly.
