What is an evaluation? Before I start a session with a horse, I always evaluate them. I do this by feeling where a horse is tight and sore. I use this information to help guide my session with your horse. I also use this to guide what services I recommend for your horse. This evaluation, plus my knowledge from my various certifications and years of experience, is the key to my success when working with horses. I cater my services for every individual horse. So let me help your horse with a session from Sanders Equine Massage.

Ever feel like your horse is being difficult in the arena?
What looks like bad behavior is often your horse’s only way to say something hurts.
Below are some common arena issues and the possible physical causes behind them.
What does all of this mean?
Behavior is communication.
Arena issues are not always training problems. They’re often body problems.
When you address the physical discomfort, you often see:
✅ Better focus
✅ Improved performance
✅ Happier attitude
✅ Faster training progress
If your horse is “acting out,” it may be time to look deeper than discipline. Their body might be asking for help. Let me help your horse be ready to compete with a free evaluation.

All of this snow is definitely making life challenging at the moment. I have rescheduled appointments and I'm hoping roads will be easier to navigate by the end of the week. I hope everyone keeps safe and warm as you take care of your horses in the snow. Post some snow photos of your horses in the comments!

Help your horse compete!

I am a CESMT or Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist. I received my certification through Midwest Natural Healing of Animals and took 3 months of study to hold this certificate. I know how to evaluate your horse to see where the pain is and then, with the knowledge from my school, I also know how to rehab and fix the problem so it is not coming back over and over again. I fix this through saddle fit and placement, exercises to build up the horse through both groundwork and riding, stretches for your horse and more. I don't just ease the pain. I aim to fix the problem. Let me work with your horse to get you ready to compete!
