Eastern Trail parkrun Biddeford

After a couple of weeks utilizing our alternate course due to snow and ice accumulation it was wonderful to return to our regular course for event #140 on The Eastern Trail. Thank you to everyone in attendance for being part of another great event.
Congratulations to Susan and Linda who set new personal best times this morning.
A big Biddeford welcome to Duncan, Charlie and Emily who joined us for the first time and a welcome back to the Bramley family visiting from the UK!
Thank you as always to our volunteers!!!! We simply cannot put our event on each week without the dedication and support of those who volunteer. We truly appreciate you all and encourage everyone to please consider volunteering from time to time so we can share the load.
We wish everyone the very best for a wonderful festive week ahead and will see you on the other side! Don't forget we have a special New Years Day event on January 1st - hopefully you can join us to welcome 2026!

We are still in need of a marshal for tomorrow's event - could that be you?
We are excited to see what the trail looks like in the morning after today's warm temperatures and rain. We'll keep our fingers crossed and hope that the wind has not affected any of the trees. Please dress appropriately and prepare for some mud.

Event #139 on The Eastern Trail was another great success. 18 participants and 8 volunteers managed slick conditions under foot and made the most of slightly warmer conditions (compared to last week) for a lovely morning.
Congratulations to Peter for completing his 50th parkrun today!!! Congratulations also to Bill who reached the 25 parkrun milestone this morning. We love having both of you with us week after week and appreciate your volunteer efforts too!
Speaking of volunteers, our event simply cannot operate without them! Thank you to everyone that volunteered today. Finding people willing to stand in the cold can be difficult and we are truly thankful for all you do to help our event succeed!
Don't forget, we have a special New Years day event taking place on, you guessed it, New Years day. We'll be in our regular location on the Eastern Trail behind the hospital in Biddeford for a 9am start and hope you can join us. Can't wait that long? No problem, we'll be in the same spot every Saturday (as always) and hope you can join us for event #140 next weekend!

Snow and cold did not deter 12 determined participants and 6 dedicated volunteers from enjoying event #138 on The Eastern Trail in Biddeford. Big thanks to everyone present despite the conditions. It's just the start of winter how many more brave individuals can we recruit over the next few months?!?
Yesterday was international volunteers day and we are so incredibly grateful for our volunteers. Massive thanks to Deane for arriving early and checking the entire course!
Congratulations to Megan who managed to set a new personal best! Well done!!!
A warm welcome to Mike who was visiting from England. Hopefully you'll join us again next time you are in our area.
There is a high likelihood that our alternate course will be operating for the next couple of months. If you plan to join us during the winter please make sure you are dressed appropriately for the conditions with warm clothing and footwear that will work on snow and ice.
