🎉 Join us at Sweetser’s 3rd Annual Recovery Rally this weekend! 🎉

We’re coming together to celebrate recovery, resilience, and community — and we’d love to see you there! 💚

Come connect, share, and show your support for this amazing cause. Let’s rally together and make a difference!

See you there! 🙌

Join Sweetser for our 3rd annual Sanford Recovery Rally & Film Screening happening Saturday August 2nd from 10am to 2PM at our Hope & Healing Center, 863 Main Street Sanford.

Coast 93.1’s Blake Hayes will be hosting and will give away some fantastic prizes.
This is a free event to foster a sense of community and learn about supporting each other and those in your life who might be in recovery or need access to support. Nearly a dozen other recovery providers will also be on hand for our resource fair.

We will have our OPTIONS liaison team and Recovery Coach available to provide demonstrations of administering naloxone and will be available to answer any questions. In addition, our Peer Services team will be available to highlight programs that center around peer-to-peer recovery support.

Points North will be showing stories of impact from their Recovery in Maine documentary series. Both short films will be looped, so no matter when you come, you can catch a glimpse!

Recovery is possible with Sweetser.

🌿 5 Subtle Signs You Might Benefit from an IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) or PHP (Partial Hospital Program)

> Most people think they have to hit "rock bottom" before seeking help. But the truth? You don’t need to lose everything to start rebuilding.

Here are 5 gentle signs it might be time to explore support:

1. You feel emotionally overwhelmed more often than not

2. You’re using substances to get through the day—or night

3. Your relationships feel strained or disconnected

5. You’ve tried to stop on your own, but it’s not sticking

6. You are not performing at your full potential due to alcohol/drug use

You’re not alone—and there is nonjudgemental and confidentialsupport. 💛

At Portland Treatment, we offer flexible, evidence-based IOP and PHP programs in a supportive, nonjudgmental setting right here in Maine.

✨ Last week, while doing outreach, Lacey May Bailey, had the chance to stop by— this time to catch up in person with their new Executive Director, Nicole Proctor Portland Recovery Community Center. 💬💛

This visit was extra special because we officially secured our sponsorship for their long-running Recovery Rally — an event we’re truly honored and excited to support. 🎉🙌

But more than anything, we just love the opportunity to build partnerships with amazing people doing meaningful work in incredible spaces. That’s the magic of this community. 🌟🏙️

🎶 Self-Care Saturday: Why We're Making a Music List 💆‍♀️✨

Today’s reminder: Self-care isn’t selfish — it’s essential. Whether it’s a walk outside, a good cup of coffee, or a few minutes of deep breathing, the little things matter.

This week, we’re turning up the volume on self-care by building a Recovery & Resilience Playlist — because music is medicine.

🧠 Studies show that music can:
✔️ Reduce stress and anxiety
✔️ Improve mood and motivation
✔️ Support emotional healing
✔️ Connect us to memories, people, and purpose

Whether it’s a song that lifts your spirits, grounds you, or reminds you how far you’ve come — we want to hear it. Drop your favorite feel-good, get-through-it, or healing anthem below! 🎤👇
