Abbyshire Place - An Optalis Health & Rehabilitation Center Abbyshire Place is known as a premier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with a holistic approach to your care and treatment.

At Abbyshire Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we offer a full calendar of activities that includes outings, recreation, crafts, and religious services. And there is always ample time for making friends, reading, or just talking over old times. This approach helps each of our residents participate in life to the fullest extent possible. We are dedicated to meeting a wide range of personal and medical needs with care and compassion. That level of concern is reflected everywhere, from the attractive surroundings to the way we get to know and respect the needs of each and every resident and patient. We take pride in offering the little extras that mean so much and make life pleasant. A Focus on Family Needs

We believe that each resident's family is as much a part of that person's care team as the doctors, nurses, and other specialists on our staff. That is why family members are an integral part of our care-planning process. We know that family members who have just placed a member in a residential facility have special needs too. To help them cope, we offer support meetings, pre-admission interviews, and personal meetings with administrative staff. Families are welcomed and encouraged to attend social functions, or just stop in and visit. We consider you an important part of the fabric of life here.

🎸👑 Celebrating the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll! 👑🎸
We had a rockin’ good time celebrating Elvis Presley’s birthday today! This morning, residents enjoyed a game of “Elvis Is in the Building,” where they searched high and low to spot Elvis figures hidden throughout the facility. 🕺✨
A big congratulations to Mrs. Susy, who was the first to find them all and bring her paper back to Activities—she was our winner! 🏆
This afternoon, we kept the Elvis spirit alive by making and enjoying grilled peanut butter and banana sandwiches, one of Elvis’s favorites, while listening to his greatest hits and sharing some fun Elvis trivia. 🎶🥪

🇺🇸 A Very Special Surprise at Abbyshire Place 🇺🇸
Yesterday, we were honored to welcome Conrad Berkley, United States Air Force, who just graduated boot camp and chose Abbyshire Place as one of his first stops home. 💙✈️

Conrad surprised his family and spent meaningful time visiting with our Veteran residents. We can only imagine the sharing of stories, smiles, and mutual respect between generations of service.
Moments like these remind us that the bond between those who have served never fades.

Thank you, Conrad, for your service, your sacrifice, and for bringing such pride and joy into our community today. Welcome home! And congratulations on this incredible achievement! 🇺🇸

🎄✨Yesterday we celebrated our residents with a Christmas party, and our hearts are truly full. Every year, our Angel Tree grows bigger and brighter, and this year was no exception. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our staff and community members, each of our residents was showered with thoughtful gifts and so much love.✨🎄
