Hallelujah. After 4 long months of blood, sweat, tears, and more prayers than we can count, Mr. A’s home is finally cleared of every single code violation. God carried us through every setback and every moment when we felt like we were running on empty. This blessing is real, and we feel it deep in our spirits.
And just before our inspection, we found a squatter who had just moved under the porch. Corning PD came immediately, secured the area, and made sure the home is safe. Please keep a watch out and keep this place in your prayers.
Our gratitude for the people who helped us is deeper than words.
Steve Serdula, thank you for your wisdom and for answering every single time we called. Leonard's Bldg & Remodeling thank you for securing Mr. A's home. Jacob Vancuren, thank you for standing with us through every pipe break, every flood, every moment we thought we were finally in the clear only to be hit again. You showed up with steady hands and a steady heart, and we will never forget it. Tish, Lindsay, and Alex, thank you for preparing for Fish’s Hauling and Removal Service with patience, strength, and kindness. Dan Mayo and his crew, thank you for the construction work that rebuilt not only a home but a sense of hope. Carr's Trucking and Snow Removal, thank you for coming every time we cried out for help. Norm's Carpet Cleaning, thank you. Jeremy Clarkson, thank you for your patience and believing in us.
To every single person who stepped in, stepped up, or stood beside us, your kindness became the backbone of this entire journey.
This was not just a project. It was a calling. A community rising together. A labor of love for a man who deserves dignity, safety, and peace. It took all of you and we will carry this gratitude with us for the rest of our lives. ~Angie & Andrea ❤️
