Congratulations to Sapient Health Services-Lynch Station for breaking ground on their brand-new clinic last weekend! 🏥

We were honored to be a part of this ceremony and are excited for the completion of this long-awaited project. Phyllis Everett, nurse practitioner and founder of Sapient Health Services, began her practice in Bedford County in 2017 at Huddleston Health & Wellness and expanded to Sapient Health Services-Big Island. Although the Huddleston clinic closed during the pandemic, Phyllis was determined to one day return and continue serving the community there.

Located in Lynch Station, the new clinic will provide a variety of medical and mental health services. In recognition of the family who donated the clinic's land, it will be called Hensley Health & Healing Center.

It is with sadness that we announce the retirement of Kathy Kennedy, FNP from our practice effective 6/21/23. We are grateful for the gift of thoughtful care she has provided our patients over the last 3.5 years. Kathy says "Working at Big Island Health and Wellness has been a rewarding experience. The community of Big Island has been supportive and I have felt privileged practicing there."
