Here are the details for this year's restorative & yin yoga with Tibetan singing bowls & bells classes.
We are not holding classes every month this year for family reasons. This also means that space for class will fill up sooner, so if you would like to join, please pick your dates and sign up sooner than later.

You carry a lot. Responsibilities, expectations, and the constant movement of life fill your days. Some of it is energizing. Some of it is heavy. Either way, your nervous system rarely gets a break.

You decide to sign up for a yoga class designed for rest.

When you arrive, everything is already prepared for you. Blankets, wool hide mats, pillows, bolsters, and even blessed water await. The room is warm, quiet, and inviting. You don’t need to do anything except arrive.

Class begins by gently tuning inward, setting an intention just for you. Soft, accessible movements help reconnect the physical, subtle, and causal bodies. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is forced.

You are guided into fully supported postures, held by the props so your body can finally let go. You give yourself permission to rest. With each pose, your system unwinds a little more, sinking into deeper relaxation as time passes.

The space remains quiet and spacious, broken only by the soft tones of singing bowls and bells, guiding your nervous system into a deeply restorative state.

The class closes with a full sound bath and gentle meditation, allowing the calm to settle in completely.

When you return to full awareness, you feel grounded, relaxed, and clear. You leave with a sense of ease you can return to anytime. And you already know you want to come back.

2026 is the Year of DELIGHT for NOW Beyond Fitness.
This means that all throughout this year (and likely onward because giving feels good!) you will be able to find little nuggets of love, light and gifts.
These will come in a variety of forms, from discounted classes or workshops, a gifted class or workshop for you, an opportunity to invite a friend to a yoga class, gear...

This year, I am working on offering quite a few workshops at a low rate ($15) to stand by my goal of helping to heal my community.

The gross body is the physical body that interacts with the material world.
The subtle body encompasses the mind and vital energies.
The causal body serves as the seed of the other two bodies, containing latent impressions from past experiences.

How you speak, see, hear, what you eat, how you care for your body, it all matters. We are more so much more than our physical selves.

"The wound is the place where the Light enters you." - RUMI

We all have our wounds. Some wounds feel just as fresh today as they did years ago. Some wounds last a moment and some last a lifetime.
Behind a smile, behind a glare, behind tears, behind a joke... we never know the internal struggle of another.

Are you allowing the Light to shine through your wound?

A resting smile. This is one of the lessons my wound taught me. Rest a smile on my face, no matter how I feel on the inside. It isn't a mask, but a projection of the love that makes me feel so heartbroken.

May you be blessed. May you be loved. May you be healthy. May you be happy. May you feel peace. May you embrace compassion. May you allow your Light to shine.

Even though accomplishing a goal feels good, you likely don’t want the outcome as much as you want to BECOME the type of person who gets that outcome.
i.e. THE PERSON WHO HAS DONE THE WORK, TAKEN THE STEPS, EXPERIENCED THE SETBACKS AND CONTINUED ONWARD.
