Today, individuals & staff from Options, WACOSA & Mille Lacs Co. Area DAC came together to make their voices heard—meeting directly with legislators to share concerns about the impact of Governor Walz’s proposed supplemental budget, to disability services. Thank you to Senators Putnam and Howe, and Representatives Novotny, Schultz, Perryman, & Wolgamott for listening & engaging with the people most affected by these decisions. A special thanks to Wacosa for providing a coach bus ride that got us there comfortably & in style! Advocacy matters—and today was a great reminder that when we show up & speak out, we can make a difference.

A Community Canvas in the Making!

We’re excited to share the beginning of a special 3-part art series that will come together as one beautiful mural! Guided by the talented Create & Connect Studio, this project brings creativity, connection, and collaboration to life.

This initiative is made possible through a generous grant from the Three Rivers Community Foundation, supporting meaningful, life-enriching experiences for the individuals we serve.

In partnership with the Sherburne County Government Center, Options will engage up to 27 artists to help create a mural that will be proudly displayed in the public hallways of the Government Center.

🖌️ Each piece tells a story—together, they’ll create something truly powerful.

Today we painted the sky! Stay tuned for updates as this inspiring project comes to life this spring! 🌱✨
