Scared? Uncertain? Feeling like no one will understand how you feel or know how to help? Do you think that even a “professional” will judge you and not understand what you’re going through? I get it…
Making the decision to ask for help is hard- it takes courage. I think most of us would like to think we can deal with whatever life throws at us- until we can’t. … and the s**t hits the proverbial fan.
My goal is to help you confront the issue/(s) standing in the way of the life you want. You don’t have to do it alone. Sometimes we all need a new perspective to consider. In the most simplistic of terms, that’s what therapy is about.
After more than a decade of helping others, here’s what I’ve learned: people want to be accepted, heard, and understood. They want to connect with someone who “gets it”.
I can’t promise you your everything will be rainbows and unicorns if you work with me (I wish I could) but therapy can be hard work! What I can promise is a safe space to talk about whatever you need to talk about. You will receive direct, unbiased feedback along with education and skills you can put into practice.
I won’t tell you what you want to hear, because that doesn’t often lead to change. I will give you the “hard” feedback that leads to change and a path that helps you arrive at the place you want to be.

PS- I am trained in: the treatment of anxiety, depression and trauma. I have additional training in EMDR, DBT, CBT, TF-CBT, SFBT, AAOD, eco therapy, motivational interviewing, and more. We can work together to find the approach that’s right for you (because therapy is the one space that should always be about you, and what works best for you!)
