Ski season ahead! Bozeman Health Trauma Services team provided education during the ski patrol trainings for Bridger Bowl, Big Sky and Yellowstone Club.

The sessions focused on identifying and treating the four "H bombs"- hypoxia, hyperventilation, hypotension and hypoglycemia -which should be avoided when a traumatic brain injury is suspected.

"It’s great that we were able to introduce this training to ski patrollers, who are often the first responders to injured skiers and snowboarders," says Dr. David Parks, Bozeman Health trauma service director.
