At Big Spring Pediatrics, Dr. Steve Ahmed and our entire staff are committed to providing infants, children, and adolescents with the quality health care they deserve. As a board-certified pediatrician for 34 years and counting with 27 of those years serving the Big Spring community, Dr. Ahmed is focused on forming lasting relationships with our patients and their families. In addition to routine checkups and immunization shots, we also address a wide array of other health conditions, including asthma, colds, and infections. A memorial mass service will be held for Dr. Steve Ahmed on Saturday August 19 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Big Spring, TX at 10AM.

Our Papa, Dr. Steve Saeed Ahmed, passed away on Friday June 30. We pray for his soul and are grateful for him to be in a better place.

We will be having the wake and visitation on Friday July 7th at 4PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home.

We will have his funeral (church mass followed by burial) on Saturday July 8th at 10AM at Calvary Hill Cemetery.

All who knew him in any capacity and would like to be there are welcome. Flowers can be sent directly to the funeral home at address below “For Dr. Steve Ahmed”

As many of you know, Dr. Ahmed was diagnosed with cancer over 2 years ago. He has been told his chemo is no longer working and there are currently no other treatment options, he has had a recent decline in his health and his spirits. Thus we are inviting all of you to come pray with us over him or come by and share memories and encouragement to lift his spirits at our home at 813 Vista Ridge Big Spring tomorrow (Tuesday June 13) from 11:30AM-1:30PM and again from 7-8PM.

He has a fighting spirit and we’d like to show him how much he means to this community and his friends and all the people whose lives he’s touched. All the good he’s done. We want him to see how loved and appreciated he is.

Friends, family, patients, anyone whose life has been touched by Dr. Steve Ahmed, or whom feels moved to pray over him or share some positive vibes/memories is welcome and encouraged to stop by.
