Health Fair returns to Dorothy Garrett Coliseum this month; Sponsorships still available

BIG SPRING, TX -- The health fair is returning to the Dorothy Garrett Coliseum on Saturday, April 20, 2024. This year's theme is Healthy - Wealthy & Wise. Doors will open at 8 a.m. The Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce has hosted this event for over 35 years.

Each year the focus of the health fair remains the same; community resources are offered in one place for residents to explore the different options offered to help keep the stress away, educational resources, family health resources, even planning information such as banking, insurance and living wills.

The health fair typically features more than 50 resources and this year, the goal is to bring as many resources as possible for the community to explore. According to Debbye ValVerde, Executive Director for the Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce, there are booth spots still available as well as corporate sponsorships. Corporate Sponsorships are available through tomorrow, April 4th, and booth deadline is set at April 12. Corporate sponsors will be included in advertising, radio and social media promotions.
