🎉 Auction Fun in Long-Term Care 🎉

Today our residents enjoyed a lively Auction Day using candy peanuts as their bidding currency! One peanut at a time, the excitement grew as everyone competed for fun prizes. We had a fantastic turnout with 13 Aspen residents and 1 Tamarack resident joining in, and every participant was a winner. 🥳

The best part? Our residents loved it so much, they’ve already asked for it to be added to the calendar again!

We are excited to welcome Deputy Jorgan as he begins serving the Bigfork area. His new office will be located on the Bigfork Valley Campus, allowing him to work closely with our community and local resources. We look forward to the positive impact he will bring and are grateful for his dedication to keeping Bigfork a safe and welcoming place to live, work, and visit.

🌟 Congratulations to our September Employee of the Month, Tanya Hemphill! 🌟
Tanya, one of our talented ultrasound technologists, has gone above and beyond this past month by stepping into additional responsibilities while her manager was away. Her dedication and commitment truly reflect Bigfork Valley’s core values of Trust, Respect, Quality, and Stewardship.
Tanya holds an AA in Liberal Education and an AS in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and is a registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) in both abdominal/general and OB/GYN specialties. Her passion for health care started early, after seeing an ultrasound demonstration, she knew this was the path for her, and she’s been hooked ever since.
When asked what she enjoys most about working here, Tanya shared:
“This is a small facility with a lot to offer. I love how supportive the community is of the hospital, and the great communication between departments.”
Thank you, Tanya, for your hard work, leadership, and for making such a positive impact on our patients and team. We’re lucky to have you at Bigfork Valley! 💙
