I’m having a great time, getting bones from the local butcher making and freezing ice cubes of bone broth I made in three different batches, boiling off all the fat in the bones. My rendered the fat, and am going to make shampoo bars. I wanted to turn the bones into biochar. I got two cans from the pizza place, a crimper, and poked a hole in the top, stuffed it with bones or would, or chips, and threw it in my woodstove for a couple hours. The gas burning off make the fire a lot hotter and sounds like a rocket. One fire in the morning or the evening can produce two cans worth of biochar. Then crush and inoculated and add to garden. 1000 years of fertility for the soil and plants love it. You can also eat it, make toothpaste, make mascara, and feed it to your chicken so their p**p doesn’t stink.  It’s great to have activated charcoal. If you’re going to drink alcohol, it will suck the poisons out of your system. Good to use daily. It’s the ultimate cleanser and safe. The miracles of biochar, the ultimate apartment complex for fungi and bacteria, are as old as time, in UK called “coalbite”.
