It's a great day filled with community spirit, collaboration, and a shared goal of creating a safe and inclusive space for our children to play and grow. We're always grateful for opportunities to connect with our neighbors and support positive initiatives in Billerica.

Today, we honor the life and legacy of a friend, colleague, and fellow BSAP member, Sergeant Ian Taylor, who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty one year ago.

It’s been a year since we lost a true hero—someone who dedicated his life to protecting and serving our community with courage, compassion, and unwavering integrity. Sergeant Taylor’s memory continues to live on in the hearts of those who knew him, worked alongside him, and were touched by his service.

We remember not only his bravery, but his kindness, compassion and the steady leadership he showed in difficult moments, and the love he had for his family, friends, and fellow officers.

To Sergeant Taylor’s family, we continue to stand with you. Your strength inspires us all.
