💛 Joanna Update 💛

We wanted to share an update on our dear Joanna, as she continues her courageous journey through cancer treatment.

She recently completed her second round of chemotherapy—2 down, 4 to go! This round went more smoothly in many ways, especially with her energy levels improving now that anemia is no longer a major issue (thanks to a recent surgery).

Joanna did experience some new side effects this time around, but thankfully, they seem to be easing. She’s keeping a close eye on things as treatment continues.

Please continue to keep Joanna in your thoughts and prayers. We are so proud of her strength and are cheering her on every step of the way. 💪💕

We want to share something deeply personal and important with our community.

One of our cherished team members, Joanna, who many of you know and love, was recently and unexpectedly diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer: uterine carcinosarcoma. The diagnosis came during fertility-related testing — up until then, she had no symptoms other than longer, heavier periods, which she had attributed to stress or hormones.

A CT scan revealed that the cancer had already spread to her lymphatic system. She’s now undergoing chemotherapy in hopes that the treatment will slow or stop the progression. Her first round was on June 18, and while the fatigue has been intense, her courage and resilience continue to inspire us every day.

She’s chosen to share her story to encourage others — especially women — to listen to their bodies and seek answers, even when something seems “minor.” You never know when it could be something more.

Please join us in sending love, strength, and prayers her way. 💛
