The “Let Them” theory is a simple but powerful mindset shift: let people do what they’re going to do… and then you decide what you’ll do next.

Let them misunderstand you.
Let them not choose you.
Let them act in ways that don’t align with your values.

And then—let yourself choose differently.

Let yourself set boundaries.
Let yourself walk away.
Let yourself stop over-explaining, over-giving, and over-fixing.

It’s not about becoming indifferent—it’s about releasing control and reclaiming your energy.

Peace often begins where control ends. 💛

Shame thrives in silence. It tells us we’re not enough, that we should hide, that something about us is “too much” or “not enough.” But shame loses its power when it’s met with compassion, curiosity, and connection.

In therapy, we gently explore the places where shame lives — not to judge, but to understand. When we bring those experiences into a safe, supportive space, healing begins. You don’t have to carry it alone.

If shame has been weighing on you, we’re here to help you move toward self-acceptance, confidence, and emotional freedom. 💛

Starting therapy can feel a little unknown — and that’s completely normal. 💬

In therapy, you can expect a safe, supportive space where you’re heard without judgment. You set the pace. Some sessions may focus on processing emotions, others on learning coping tools, setting boundaries, or working through life transitions.

There’s no “right” way to do therapy. Some days you may talk a lot, other days you may sit with your thoughts — both are part of the process. Growth happens gradually, and your therapist walks alongside you, not in front of you.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. Just showing up is a powerful first step. 🌿

Trauma doesn’t just impact memories — it can change the way the brain works. 🧠

When someone experiences trauma, the brain shifts into survival mode. The alarm system becomes more sensitive, making it easier to feel anxious, overwhelmed, or on edge. At the same time, the parts of the brain responsible for logic, focus, and emotional regulation can become harder to access. This isn’t a weakness — it’s the brain trying to protect you.

You might notice difficulty concentrating, strong emotional reactions, trouble sleeping, or feeling disconnected. These are not character flaws — they are adaptive responses to difficult experiences.

The hopeful part? The brain is capable of healing. With support, safety, and consistent care, new pathways can form. Regulation can improve. A sense of calm can return.

Your brain adapted to survive.
It can also learn to feel safe again. 💛✨

Struggling doesn’t always look the way people expect. Sometimes it’s showing up with a smile while feeling completely overwhelmed inside. Sometimes it’s exhaustion that sleep doesn’t fix, or feeling disconnected from yourself and the people around you.

Struggling can look like overthinking everything, avoiding what once felt easy, or questioning your worth in quiet moments. It can be irritability, numbness, or carrying a heaviness you can’t quite explain.

If this feels familiar, you’re not alone. Struggling is not a failure—it’s a signal. A signal that something needs care, attention, and compassion.

You don’t have to push through it by yourself. There is support, there is understanding, and there is a way forward—even if it doesn’t feel clear right now

Pain changes you.

It reshapes the way you see the world, the way you trust, the way you protect yourself. It can make you quieter… or louder. Softer in some places, guarded in others. It teaches you where you’ve been hurt—and where you’re still healing.

But pain doesn’t get to have the final word.

With the right support, it can become something you move through, not something that defines you. It can transform into insight, resilience, and even connection.

You don’t have to navigate it alone.

We’re here to walk alongside you—through the hard parts, the messy middle, and the healing that follows.

Taylor is officially a Pre-Licensed Candidate Professional Counselor # -PCLC-LIC-88043., and we are so proud to have her as part of our team.
Before entering the counseling field, Taylor spent several years working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Labor and Delivery, where she supported mothers and families during some of the most vulnerable and transformative moments of their lives. This experience gave her a deep understanding of the emotional, physical, and psychological aspects of the perinatal journey.
Taylor brings a wealth of compassion, clinical curiosity, and real-world experience into the therapy space. Her background in medical care, combined with her counseling training, allows her to hold space for individuals navigating pregnancy, postpartum transitions, anxiety, trauma, and life changes with both empathy and insight.
She has also completed training through Postpartum Support International (PSI), which equips her to support individuals experiencing perinatal and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders.
Taylor’s dedication to continued learning and her genuine care for others make her a wonderful fit within our practice. We are excited for the many individuals and families who will benefit from her warmth, skill, and commitment to holistic mental health care. 🌿
Currently supervised by Lital Diament MA, LMFT, MT #56973, Taylor is ready to partner with you on your mental health journey. If you’re ready to take the next step, she invites you to reach out and begin your path to growth and well-being.
Since being a PCLC, Taylor is now able to see clients and accept most major insurances! Inquire for more information!
