Last night, our Billings team gathered for a heartfelt celebration as we bid farewell to Dr. Cullen Ryburn, a dedicated and respected surgeon who has provided exceptional care to thousands of patients across Billings, Eastern Montana, and Northern Wyoming since joining us in 2022.

Though we’re sad to see him go, we’re thrilled to announce that Dr. Ryburn is starting a new chapter by opening a Vance Thompson Vision practice in Loveland, Colorado, bringing him closer to family.

We are excited to expand the scope of our patient care into a new region, bringing compassionate and innovative eye care to Southern Wyoming and Northern Colorado through this new location. Vance Thompson Vision Northern Colorado will be the 9th location in the mid- and mountain west.

Our Billings and Bozeman clinics, led by Dr. Russell Swan, will continue to serve patients throughout Montana and Northern Wyoming.

We wish Dr. Ryburn all the best in his new venture and thank him for his incredible contributions to our community!

What fun to contribute our first tree to the auction at the Festival of Trees - Family Tree Center this year! Our tree's theme, "It's a Small World" showcased flags and holiday greetings from all over the world.🎄

Shout out to Katy Fisk Stricker for making the festive international ornaments and to Tonni Unruh Zuroff for helping bring the vision to life! 🪄

Thanks to Ceara Niece-Steiner and Alecia Diede for representing the doctors at the Gala last night! We were thrilled to be one of 35+ organizations that helped to raise thousands of dollars for Family Tree Nurturing Center and the families who rely on their support!

Billings is a large community but the event sure felt like "a small world" as we encountered past patients, friends, and business owners we know from all over town.
