Our mission to you:
It is Little Legends mission to provide holistic, non-traditional, and comprehensive occupational therapy services to children ages 0-21 and their families. We want to create a safe therapy environment for children to hone on their strengths and build on their weakness to reach their maximum potential facilitating success in their daily occupations. Little legends Therapy is a pediatric occupational therapy practice in Billings, MT that opened in January of 2023. We believe in creating a therapy environment where children can feel safe to build the skills, they need to be successful in their daily occupations through play and sensory motor-based interventions. We believe in a โ€œbottom-upโ€ approach to therapy by addressing the foundational components and filling in the holes building on them to facilitate motivation, participation, confidence, and success in daily occupations. We provide occupational therapy services to children ages 0-21 with a wide variety of diagnosis inclusive of, but not limited to, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Anxiety, SPD, ODD, ASD, developmental delay, and social skills differences. About us:
Little Legends Therapy was founded in January of 2023 by owner and occupational therapist, Tenika Capouch. Tenika has practiced in Billings since 2018, where she noticed the ever-growing need of therapy for the pediatric population in the Billings community. Throughout her experiences as an occupational therapist, she noticed the influx of mental health diagnosis being referred to therapy. Children and teenagers with differences in self-regulation, behavioral control, sensory processing, etc. Families, caregivers, and various school staff implemented multiple different strategies that were ineffective, leaving them feeling โ€œlostโ€ and at the end of their rope. Tenika wanted to create a therapy practice where the approach to therapy was โ€œnon-traditionalโ€, helping families, caregivers, school staff, and patients understand their child and themselves through a different lens, restoring hope and guiding them along the way. Meet Our Staff:

๐ŸŒ€ Life is full of changesโ€”OT helps kids handle them.

We use structured challenges and supportive play to build:

1. Emotional flexibility during transitions
2. Problem-solving when routines shift
3. Confidence in trying new tasks

Resilience grows one playful challenge at a time.

๐Ÿ“šโœจ Storytime in OT!

Today, Mrs. Tenika read a book all about flexible thinking, with her client and his trusted stuffed animals gathered around, listening closely. ๐Ÿงธ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿป

We explored how to handle unexpected changes, think in new ways, and shift his perspective โ€” all key parts of building flexible thinking skills.

๐Ÿ“– Why books? Stories are a powerful OT tool! They give kids a safe, engaging way to:

โœ”๏ธ See social and emotional concepts in action
โœ”๏ธ Connect to characters and scenarios
โœ”๏ธ Practice perspective-taking and problem-solving
โœ”๏ธ Spark meaningful conversations and learning โ€” without pressure

Books provide structure while leaving room for imagination โ€” the perfect mix for developing executive function skills. And when you're surrounded by a supportive (and very quiet) audience of stuffed animals, it's even better. ๐Ÿ’›
