LONG-COVID and MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

MLD helps to produce more lymphocytes. On average our bodies move lymph 10-12 beats per minute; a MLD treatment can move the lymph 100-120 beats per minute. This increased movement then increases the production of lymphocytes.

Lymphocytes are a type of white blood cell in the immune system of most vertebrates; they include T-cells, B-cells, and innate lymphoid cells.

Attached is a science study performed to learn how MLD can effectively help reduce or eliminate the symptoms of Long-Covid through MLD treatments

BREAST CANCER and MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

MLD can help reduce the risk of Breast Cancer. Research is still ongoing to the full effects of MLD and its benefits in this area.

BCRL (Breast Cancer Related Lymphedema) once settled into the arm from the removal of the lymph nodes, is a condition that will have some results but not through MLD alone. MLD is paired with compression sleeves, mild exercises, and a range of physician recommended treatments to help the flow of the edema out of the arm and into the watershed.

Attached is link to the science data of BCRL/BC and MLD and possible physician recommended treatments.

The BRAIN and MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

New studies have been targeting how the lymphatic system and drainage can help with the brain and the central nervous system. There has been a number of studies being done in the past 9 years (since 2015) and there have been significant discoveries of how MLD can assist in the moving of the lymph through the brain to help with brain and CNS dysfunctions. MLD alone is not the cure but has been shown to help in improving some of these dysfunctions.

Attached is a link to the science data of the brain and lymphatic drainage study.

It is not the full study, but it does show the indications of the data and does provide the ability to purchase the full study.

Our Story

I became a Massage Therapist after I had worked a very physically demanding job that physically broke me. I could barely function on a day to day basis. I decided to start seeing a therapist for massages to see if that would help me. The amount of difference it made in my ability to move and have less pain was amazing, so I decided to go to school and become a therapist. While in school learning how fascinating the body is, I discovered that being a massage therapist is who I am. God blessed me with an amazing gift to be able to help others feel their best.
