In Vision Therapy and Developmental Optometry, we’re always looking at how all the “pieces” of the visual system fit together, be it eyes, brain, body, perception, and experience. When each slice is working in harmony, the whole picture comes into focus.

“My Child’s Success Story!”

Before Vision Therapy: My daughter would come home with headaches often from school and we didn’t know why until she got an eye exam. At our first visit with Dr. Rolfstad, I could hardly believe the large size of letters our daughter could not see. She was almost in tears trying to figure it out. She recommended vision therapy to at least improve her vision some, so we started seeing Amy.

After Vision Therapy: Our time with Amy was wonderful!! Addison would do her exercises every week diligently and it paid off! After our first check-up, the improvement was almost hard to believe! The size of the letters she could read were so small. We continued for a while longer and when she graduated, it was amazing how much was corrected by seeing Amy!! We are so thankful for her and vision therapy!

Join us at Heights Eyecare Friday, December 19th from 9am-3pm to enjoy a cookie and wish Pam farewell.

Pam Bone was the first employee of Heights Eyecare, starting just three weeks after opening in August 1989. Through her 36 years, she has worked in every position within the office but currently focuses on managing the contact lens department and bookkeeping.

Pam's professional achievements include obtaining her ABO (opticianry) and CPOA (Paraoptometric) certifications, President of the MT Paraoptometric Section 2002-2006, and MOA Paraoptometric of the Year 2007-2008. She is most proud of having the privilege of being on the ground floor of Heights Eyecare and watching it grow and prosper from one doctor with one employee and a handful of patients to six doctors with 32 employees and thousands of patients.

Pam would like to be remembered for her strong dedication, reliability, and willingness to share her knowledge through training others. Dr. Linde has been her biggest inspiration and influence both professionally and personally. Pam said "she will forever be grateful to him for taking a chance on her so many years ago."

Although retirement is an odd concept for a workaholic, Pam is looking forward to more time outdoors hiking, going for long walks with her dog, spending time with family, scrapbooking, reading, and traveling.
