Not all survivors experience everything on this broad list, but we are called survivors for a reason. There are very difficult things survivors have to face after leaving their abusive relationship and almost all survivors tackle these horrors while also fighting PTSD. Safety tip of the day - Be aware of how much information you give away. Predators will glean as much as possible to look and sound legit. And it's not just on the back of cars. Look around you for where this info is leaking out.

Nature is healing!

Keeping a journal can be an integral part of our healing journey. I learned that a free form of writing called "prose writing" can be most beneficial because it allows for an uninterrupted stream of thinking. You just write what comes to mind. After a period of time, you can look back and see how far you've come in your journey.
