Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that you don’t have to carry everything alone.💜

We’re part of the Billings and Bozeman communities, and we’re here to help people find real support close to home. That includes therapy, education, and advanced treatment options like TMS and Spravato.

A lot of people want help but don’t know where to start. If you’re ready to begin your mental health journey, start this month with a call to our team. We’ll help you figure out what support fits you best.

At Montana Psychiatry, we’ve worked with patients who walked through our doors feeling hopeless. They were tired. Burned out. They wondered if anything could actually help. However, many of those same people experienced real change after completing a TMS treatment plan. They reported feeling lighter, more energized, and more like themselves again.

TMS isn’t a “quick fix,” but it is a new chance. And for many, it’s the one that finally worked.

If antidepressants have not worked for you, TMS may be worth considering. MT Psychiatry explains why TMS is often a practical next step in care.

We’re thrilled to see our own Dr. Erin Amato featured in USA Today!

Traditional mental health treatments work for many, but what happens when they fall short? In a recent national spotlight, Dr. Amato shares her journey of moving beyond "managing symptoms" to focus on true brain healing and neuroplasticity.

Her new book, Think Outside the Bottle, explores this very evolution, bridging the gap between standard psychiatry and personalized, functional medicine. Whether it’s through advanced neurotherapies like TMS and Ketamine or a deep dive into biology and lifestyle, the goal remains the same: helping you reclaim your quality of life.

Check out the full feature to see how we’re leading the future of brain health.

We had a great turnout at the Mental Health Forum at Montana State University.

Dr. Erin Amato, our Medical Director at Montana Psychiatry, joined a panel of local nonprofits and community organizations for an important conversation about mental health in Gallatin County.

The focus was how we can work together to strengthen support, reduce stigma, and make mental health care more accessible for our community.

Grateful to be part of the ongoing conversation and the work being done to support real change. 💙

Depression is complex, and treatment should be too. At Montana Psychiatry, we do not believe in one size fits all solutions—especially for people facing depression that has not improved with traditional approaches. 😕

As a certified Spravato treatment center, we provide a safe, structured, medically supervised environment where patients can receive this breakthrough therapy with expert support every step of the way. Our team closely monitors each session and adjusts your care plan based on your progress because treatment should be as individualized as the person receiving it.

Our goal is simple: to help you move beyond just getting by and start feeling like yourself again.

Provider Spotlight on Julia Bonn, DNP, PMHNP-BC ✨

When she’s not caring for patients, Julia loves making the most of Montana life—whether she’s hiking scenic trails, fly fishing, skiing fresh powder, or slowing down with pottery, cooking, a good book, and hosting friends and family. 🏔️🎣📚

Julia brings that same warmth, balance, and grounded energy into the care she provides every day. We’re so grateful to have her on our team!

We were honored to host Dr. Ania Bartkowiak of .counseling and at our most recent Grounds for Connection gathering on Friday, March 27.

Grounds for Connection is our monthly event created to bring together the Gallatin County mental health community for collaboration, connection, and shared learning. We believe better care happens when providers come together, build relationships, and learn from one another.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for another meaningful morning of conversation and community. If you would like to attend a future event or be considered as a speaker, we would love to connect with you. 💚

World Health Day is a reminder that health is about more than what we can see.🌎

Your health includes your mind, too. 💙

Mental health is a huge part of overall wellness, and it deserves the same care, attention, and support as the rest of your body.

If you’ve been struggling with anxiety, depression, mood changes, stress, or just not feeling like yourself, you do not have to push through it alone.

Getting support is part of taking care of your health.

For some people, that support may look like therapy. For others, it may include medication. And for many, it’s a combination of both.

The truth is: medication can help, and there is nothing wrong with needing support to feel better, think clearer, and show up more fully in your life.

You deserve to feel like the best version of yourself.
You deserve peace.
You deserve to prioritize your mental health just like you would any other part of your well-being.

This , let this be your reminder: Taking care of your mind is taking care of your health.
