There is a new NON-INSULIN-TREATED DIABETES MELLITUS ASSESSMENT FORM (MCSA-5872) that drivers can use to help medical examiners with their certification decision(s). This form is not mandatory but provides necessary information that may help expedite the process. I constantly encourage my drivers to be proactive with their medical conditions to avoid having their medical certificates limited or denied.

We are hiring a front desk/receptionist. Part-time (30ish hours/week), $14.00/hr., flexible schedule for kid/family activities.

A chiropractic receptionist helps manage the day-to-day operations of a chiropractic office. Primary duties include answering phone calls, greeting patients and visitors, and directing inquiries to the appropriate person(s). Chiropractic receptionists also perform administrative duties such as scheduling patient appointments, managing medical records, and verifying insurance information. Additionally, they assist the chiropractor during patient treatments by preparing the treatment room, positioning patients, and providing instructions. A successful chiropractic receptionist should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

I have Monovision (I can see out of one eye only). Do I need the vision form filled out every year?

According to the 2022 Vision Regulation, “Before an individual may be medically certified under the alternative vision standard, the individual must have a vision evaluation conducted by an ophthalmologist or optometrist. The ophthalmologist or optometrist records the findings of the vision evaluation and provides specific medical opinions on the new Vision Evaluation Report, Form MCSA–5871.”

I passed my NRCME 10-year recertification exam today. Guess I’ll be performing DOT physicals for 10 more years.
