We have a patient spotlight moment. This patient underwent bilateral mastectomies with immediate DIEP flap reconstruction.
The DIEP flap breast reconstruction surgery takes the patients autologous tissue from the abdomen to create breast tissue.
In short, the patient gets a tummy tuck, new breasts, and no cancer! How beautiful! We are very proud to deliver results like this to our strong patients who have battled breast cancer!
