When you were in training, you learned the ABCs.

Airway.
Breathing.
Circulation.

Simple. Foundational. Non-negotiable.

Choosing a vascular center management company should be approached with that same clarity.

But many physicians don’t realize what they should be asking before entering a partnership.

Alignment.
Infrastructure.
Culture.

Those three areas often determine whether your practice grows smoothly — or encounters friction later.

If you own an OBL, are considering ASC conversion, or are evaluating your current MSO structure, this blog walks through the questions most physicians don’t think to ask.

Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) affects millions of Americans, and many people don't even know they have it.

New federal healthcare initiatives are now focusing on improving:

✔ PAD awareness
✔ Early screening
✔ Amputation prevention

Why is this important?

PAD can restrict blood flow to the legs and feet. When it goes untreated, it can lead to serious complications—including limb amputation.

The good news is that PAD is often treatable when caught early.

Our latest blog explains:

• What PAD is
• Who is at risk
• Why early screening matters
• How new national initiatives are helping fight this growing disease

If you experience leg pain while walking, numbness in your feet, or slow-healing wounds, talk with a vascular specialist.

Early care can make all the difference.

⭐ Patient Testimonial ⭐
“As some of you may know, about this time last year I began having severe pain in my left knee — a knee I had never had trouble with before. At one point, the pain was so bad I could barely bend it enough to put my socks on. I tried multiple injections with only minor relief and even had my knee scoped, but the pain continued. I truly thought I was headed toward a knee replacement.
After doing some research, I learned about the G*E procedure and decided to visit Gulf South Vascular Care. Since I still had good cartilage, I was considered a great candidate. I had the procedure about 2½ weeks ago. It was minimally invasive, done outpatient, required no rehab, and I was only limited from heavy lifting for 48–72 hours.
In less than three weeks, I’m basically pain-free and back to climbing rig stairs every day. For anyone considering knee replacement, I strongly encourage you to look into this option first.
Jeanne, Brittany , and the entire team at Gulf South Vascular Care are amazing people.”

This testimonial reflects one patient’s experience. Individual results may vary. This post is shared with the patient’s permission

Did you know?
Genicular Artery Embolization (G*E) is a minimally invasive procedure used to help relieve knee pain caused by osteoarthritis — often delaying or avoiding knee replacement in the right candidates.
If you’ve been told knee replacement is your only option, it may be worth exploring alternatives.

A big thank you to one of our favorite patients for the thoughtful gift! It truly made our day.
