It’s official!!

Robert D. Holsey, D.O.
Retirement

It is with mixed emotions that I announce my intent to retire from Binger Medical Clinic as of June 15, 2022. I will be unable to continue your care or renew your prescriptions after that date. Caring for you, my patients, has been the most rewarding part of my 40 year career. My wife, Christy, and I have a lifetime of memories to share thanks to your trust in us for your healthcare needs.

I am excited to announce Dr Trey Thomason, D.O. will be taking over my patients. I am confident that you will welcome him and will be very pleased with his care. He will continue to see patients at his clinic in Hinton, OK and at the Binger Clinic once renovations have been made to the building. If you should decide to transfer your care to someone else, our staff will be available to help you, once you sign an authorization form to allow the release of your medical records to that physician. Christy and I wish you good health and happiness in the future.

A message from Binger Medical Clinic regarding the Coronavirus 2019 or COVID-19 viral infection. We are dedicated to safely caring for ALL of our patients. Please call us regarding your specific questions. This is an ever changing situation regarding diagnosis and treatment. Due to this fact you may see or read conflicting information. Be patient this will settle out and become clear in short order.
Please call our clinic BEFORE arriving if you have a fever, cough or shortness of breath. In this way we can identify if we can help you by providing care or whether you need referral for testing for the COVID-19 virus which we cannot perform at this time. By YOU calling first you save time and effort and potentially avoid exposing others to this serious infection.
We recommend patients staying home with mild respiratory symptoms. More severe symptoms including a fever, cough and shortness of breath should be FIRST be evaluated by a phone call to your health care provider or the state coronavirus call center.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health has a Coronavirus Call Center that number is 1-877-215-8336. Or go to coronavirus.health.ok.gov
