Knowing 5-8 years prior that there are breast tissue/blood vessel changes before it can be seen on x-ray afford the valuable time to reverse a disease process. Seeking full body scans...why not! Once again, we find patients asking for a modality that is increasingly being advertised, and yet we find no validity in the process. Well, not quite no validity. If you are having pain in a joint or muscle most likely inflammation is present. When inflammation is present a thermographic camera will pick up on the heat being emitted. Then there is a confirmation that inflammation exists - which is self-evident by the pain.

Therma-Scan will NOT do full body scans because the clinical evidence does not warrant such a high expense when there are other more specific tests which can be performed, more clinical data is obtained, and a treatment course is better created.

When it comes to the breast - have you ever seen a picture from a company who performs full body scans or one that does not use FLIR cameras (the best in the industry and only one we will use)? Is there a close-up on the breast, underarm and clavicle area only? If not they are most likely using what we refer to as an imaging camera - one that does not read within 1/100th of a degree in temperature differentials. And for sure they are not performing the cold-water stress tests due to the advanced training it takes to read it accurately.

Yes, use Therma-Scan's interpretation services only to guarantee the highest industry standards, and the world's premiere source for analysis and reporting of medical thermography. One word sums it up: INTEGRITY.

Thank you for trusting Therma-Scan as part of your breast health program. We are filled with gratitude as more and more women under age 50 are being screened. As most of you know mammograms are not as sensitive as thermography for that age group as well as for women with dense breasts. To have a screening tool and certainly for us to be able to offer the service, is a true gift.
