Thank you to Maine Fire for having us at their Tuesday night training to re-certify their firefighters in CPR and AED use.

Thank you to Koffman Southern Tier Incubator for having us in for CPR training. For some people, it was a refresher, but for two people it was their first time. Contact us for your own CPR/AED/First Aid training!

Just one week later, that’s exactly what some of our team at the Koffman did. Thanks to Abell Safety Training for coming to the incubator yesterday to teach us how to be good samaritans and help save lives. Remember, every second matters

Mr. Karlson and Kyle Bidwell (and Charlotte) came up the idea and we brought it together in the nick of time before the school year ended. We had to adapt to having two 40 minute periods to get the important points across to the 38 students (because I like to talk.). I think we hit the basics and sent them home with some good knowledge and a pocket CPR mask, which I hope they never have to use.

June 1-7 is National CPR and AED awareness week. Are you prepared in case someone you know collapses in cardiac arrest? Does your workplace have a plan to assist a worker or customer?
