Congratulations, Jon! Jon has been working in our nutrition department for 9 months. What led him into this profession is his passion for food, health, and physiology. Jon likes working with residents and his co-workers to improve residents' quality of life and independence. The best part about working at Bridgewater Center is working with the different disciplines at the facility, and learning about the residents to support their health and recovery.

In Jon’s free time, he enjoys spending time outside with his two sons, Emmitt and Ben, and his girlfriend Monet. A fun fact about Jon: he published a paper in the Journal of Special Operations Medicine in 2024 with the University of Colorado and the military. Kudos, Jon!

Thank you, Jon, for all you do. We are thrilled to have you on our Bridgewater team!

Congratulations, Kasey! Kasey has worked at Bridgewater Center for 8 months. She has always had a strong passion for supporting the elderly, helping them preserve their independence and overall quality of life. After Kasey worked in homecare, she wanted to advocate for seniors in a different light. She wanted to be able to make a meaningful impact in their life and help them navigate through the emotional and social challenges that come with aging, while also maintaining their autonomy and dignity.

Kasey says the best part about her job at the facility is building genuine relationships and trust with her residents. She loves watching them smile and light up with happiness when they see her. Kasey appreciates listening to their backgrounds and stories as well as talking to them about non-related work business.

When asked what she likes about Bridgewater Center itself, she says: “The residents! Theyalways find a way to make my day a little brighter”.

In her free time, she spends time with her two daughters. You may find them listening to loud music, cleaning, dancing, and finishing the night off with a good board or card game. A couple of fun facts about Miss Kasey-she is double-jointed and has 5 cats!

Thank you, Kasey, for all you do for us here at Bridgewater Center. We certainly appreciate you!

Congratulations Emerencia! Emerencia began working here at Bridgewater Center about 3 years ago. She says she has always had a soft spot for the elderly, being able to support them and listening to their stories. Helping to improve their quality of life feels like a calling. What Emerencia likes the most about her position is the connection she has with the residents, building trust, and giving dignity and a voice if need be.

When asked what she likes about working at Bridgewater Center specifically, Emerencia says: “Being able to build real relationships with residents. At Bridgewater, I feel like I am not just doing a job-I’m making a difference in people’s lives.”

In her spare time, Emerencia loves traveling and going to the gym. Chocolates and perfume are also high on her list of things she enjoys!

Thank you, Emerencia, for all that you do. We surely appreciate you!
