Oasis School of Animal Massage Learn Equine and Canine Massage Therapy. Oasis School of Animal Massage Therapy is located in Birmingham, Alabama.

Oasis Animal Massage founder Chelsea Short is a licensed massage therapist and has been running a very successful massage practice since 2009. She graduated from the Northwest School of Animal Massage in 2007, completing 250 hours in animal massage training and receiving certification in Performance & Maintenance Massage. She then went on to the Montgomery School of Bodywork & Massage to receive her Massage Therapy License and is certified in Therapeutic Massage, Orthopedic Massage & Spa Therapy. She is licensed by the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy and by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. She is also certified in Infant Massage, Pediatric Massage & MediCupping. She teaches classes at her spa on baby massage & couples massage. Before becoming a massage therapist, Chelsea was a Veterinary Technician for 5 yrs, working with small & large animals of all kinds. She has been showing palomino quarter horses within the Palomino Horse Breeders Association & the American Quarter Horse Association, competing in All Around Events since the age of 9. She has also shown Cavalier King Charles Spaniels & Beagles in American Kennel Club Shows. Chelsea is married and has two children, a 14 yr old daughter and a 10 yr old son She shares her love of animals & massage with them daily.

Gearing up, a little less than 2 weeks before our first class of 2025. Meet the horses, first up we have Scout and his miniature horse Dreamer. Scout is 8 yrs old and has been with us since he was 6 months old and Dreamer is 21 and has been with us for 17 yrs. Both of them love receiving massage therapy! They are best buddies and almost inseparable!
