Most people want to help in an emergency… they’re just afraid they might get in trouble.

The Good Samaritan Law was created to protect people who step in to help when seconds matter.

Knowing CPR and how to use an AED gives you the confidence to act when it counts.

Be ready to be a rescuer.

This may be a tough question… just kidding.

But honestly these are some of the real things people call AEDs. “The shocky thing.” “That box on the wall.”

You’d be surprised how many people don’t actually know what an AED is or what it does. Most people just think about the paddles you see on TV where someone gets shocked and then they magically wake up.

In reality, AEDs are incredible tools that analyze heart rhythms and can deliver life-saving shocks when someone is in cardiac arrest. When they’re nearby and people know how to use them, they can save lives.

If you want to learn more about AEDs or have questions, then email us at info@rescuerllc.com or call us at 334-595-2737. We’d love to be a reliable resource for your AED needs or just help point you in the right direction.

February, also known as Heart Month, was a big one for Rescuer.

We completed multiple CPR, First Aid, and BLS classes which means more people in our community are ready to step up in an emergency.

We also had the honor of providing AEDs and a Defibtech mechanical CPR device to the Chilton County Sheriff’s Office, helping equip their deputies with life-saving tools when seconds matter most.

Grateful for the best students, instructors, and team behind this mission.

Happy Heart Month from Rescuer.

The Chilton County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a grant funded through the Alabama Sheriffs Association utilizing funds from the opioid settlement.
Through this grant funding, we were able to equip our patrol deputies with AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), ensuring that life-saving equipment is readily available when seconds matter most.

In addition, we were able to purchase a Defibtech ARM XR CPR device—an advanced automated chest compression machine that provides consistent, high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) during medical emergencies. This equipment greatly enhances our ability to deliver critical care while awaiting EMS or assisting on scene.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to Drew Babyak with Rescuer for supplying us with this equipment and helping better prepare our deputies to serve and protect our community.

Sheriff John Shearon stated, “This funding allows us to better equip our deputies with critical, life-saving tools. Having AEDs in our patrol units and the Defibtech ARM XR CPR device available greatly increases our ability to respond effectively in medical emergencies. We are thankful to the Alabama Sheriffs Association and everyone involved in making this possible. Our priority is, and always will be, the safety and well-being of the citizens of Chilton County.”

This investment directly strengthens our ability to respond to emergencies and save lives. Your safety remains our top priority

Rescuer is honored to partner with the Chilton County Sheriff’s Office to help them equip their deputies with Zoll AED 3s through grant funding provided by the Alabama Sheriffs Association. Having AEDs in patrol vehicles means life-saving equipment is on scene faster when every second counts.

They also added a Defibtech ARM XR that will respond with supervisors, giving their team the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality compressions during critical incidents.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to supply this equipment and support their mission. Their commitment to strengthening emergency response and investing in tools that help save lives speaks volumes about their dedication to the citizens of Chilton County.

Thank you to the Chilton County Sheriff’s Office and everyone involved in making this possible!

Announcing Our 2025 Fall Rescuer Scholarship Recipients!

We are excited to share that Blake Smith and Brendan Murphy have been selected as this year’s Rescuer Scholarship recipients, each receiving $1,500 to cover their tuition and reward them for their hard work throughout recruit school.
We would like to give a huge thank you to the Alabama Fire College for partnering with us to make this scholarship possible, to the people and businesses who support Rescuer, and to the firefighters who showed up big at our Rescuer Vendor Event to raise money.
Because of your support, generosity, and belief in our mission, we were able to give back to the next generation of firefighters in a meaningful way.

Congratulations Blake and Brendan! We challenge you to keep pushing, keep grinding, and keep leading. The fire service is better because of recruits like you.
