During Mental Health Awareness Month, Alabama AHEC recognizes the importance of supporting mental well-being in every community. Mental health affects how we think, feel, and connect with others, and it is just as important as physical health.

This month is a reminder to prioritize self-care, reduce stigma, and encourage open conversations about mental health. Together, we can build stronger, healthier communities where everyone feels supported.
