We're so proud to serve as the official medical provider of the Birmingham Stallions this season! 🐎

Since 2022, UAB Sports & Exercise Medicine has partnered with the Stallions to provide comprehensive sports medicine coverage, supporting player health, safety, and performance all season long.

We enjoyed being part of the Career Pathways Panel & Presentation hosted by the UAB School of Education and Human Sciences! 👏

Students had the opportunity to hear firsthand from professionals in occupational therapy, physical therapy, physician assistant studies, and athletic training about what their careers really look like, from day-to-day responsibilities to work-life balance, challenges, and what they love most about their work.

AHSAA Class 5A Boys Basketball State Champions! 👏

The Dragons captured the title with a historic 101-40 victory over the Sylacauga Aggies. Congratulations on an incredible season and bringing the Blue Map back to Birmingham!

The Dragons are headed to the FINALS! 🐉

The Wenonah Dragons defeated the LeFlore Rattlers 79–60 to punch their ticket to the state championship game. They’ll face the Sylacauga Aggies tomorrow morning at 10:45 a.m. in a highly anticipated rematch.

We're back on the road! Our team was proud to host its Sports Medicine Clinical Lecture & Casting Lab in Jacksonville, Alabama! We had a fantastic time working with students from JSU's Master of Athletic Training Program, providing hands-on experience in clinical care, administrative tasks, casting techniques, and more. It's an honor to support and mentor aspiring athletic trainers as they prepare for their careers in sports medicine. 🙌
