Richard began his training in Holistic Massage therapy at the Alison Caroline Institute in Nairobi, Kenya, and completed his education in Neuromuscular Therapy at the Birmingham School of Massage in 2019 and became Licensed with the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy in 2020. He specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue massage, Sports massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Myofascial release techniques. As a professional distance runner training in Kenya and Qatar, he quickly realized the benefits of massage to improve his athletic performance, shortening recovery time, and preventing injuries during intense training. He especially enjoys working with athletes to aid in recovery and advance their performance, and those with chronic pain to regain function and independence. During his free time, Richard continues to run intermediate and long-distance road and trail races, strength training, and yoga.
