As part of Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month, we’re continuing to highlight therapies that play an important role in supporting people living with multiple sclerosis (MS).

Tysabri is indicated for relapsing forms of MS and works by helping keep certain immune cells in the bloodstream and out of the central nervous system, where they can contribute to inflammation and symptom activity. With a once monthly infusion schedule, it provides a consistent treatment option that many patients and providers incorporate into long term care plans.

At CRx, specialty pharmacy support goes beyond medication access. We coordinate infusion scheduling, communicate closely with providers, and help patients stay on track with therapy through ongoing guidance and support. Happy International Women’s Day to women everywhere, and especially to the incredible women on our team. Your dedication, compassion, and the care you show to patients—and to one another—make a difference every day.

In recognition of this day, we’re highlighting a pioneering woman in science, Gertrude B. Elion. At a time when women were rarely represented in scientific research, her persistence and innovation helped shape modern medicine. Her groundbreaking work in drug development led to treatments that transformed care for life-threatening illnesses, including leukemia, and earned her the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1988.
